[May – July'06] Third Year Summer Internship
Organisation: Center for Information Management, Integration and Connectivity(CIMIC)
Supervisor: Dr. Nabil Adam, Director, CIMIC.
The
three projects I was involved in are as follows:

Developed a
portal for Municipal Governments in New Jersey which enabled easy sharing of equipment
among them.
·
Study of current
trends in Multi-Modal Application Development with specific focus on XML standards
for development of multimodal applications.
· Implementation of
Algorithms for Clustering of Web Services.
[May – July'05] Sophomore Year Summer Internship
Laboratory: Division for Robotics & Remote Handling (DRHR)
Organisation: Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Bombay, India.
Supervisor: Mr.
J.K.Mukherjee, Scientific Officer 'H', Head, Advanced Robotics Section.
Database management system for images: The final product was an application which could
receive images from a camera mounted on a robot and store these images in an
easily accessible and searchable format. Images could be tagged and easily
added in the database by the user. Image searching based on the tags or any
other information was also provided. Visual Basic 6.0 was used for development.
